Elmhurst Ballet School, 249 Bristol Rd, Birmingham B5 7UH The Cecchetti Society Trust will welcome 40 talented young dancers to participate in the 2023/24 CST Vocational Classical Ballet Awards. The Awards incorporate the Fewster Cecchetti Scholarship and the Barbara Geoghegan Award. All competitors will participate in an adjudicated ballet class onstage set at Advanced 1 Level containing unset work and specified traditional Cecchetti exercises. Those entered for the Barbara Geoghegan Award will also perform a solo classical variation. The Adjudicators are Rachel Hester, former Artist with the Danish Royal Ballet and First Artist with Birmingham Royal Ballet and Lachlan Monaghan, Principal with Birmingham Royal Ballet. Ruth Brill, former Artist with English National Ballet and First Artist with Birmingham Royal Ballet will teach the onstage classes. Classes will be accompanied by Jonnie Gait. COMPETITION PROGRAMME

The Awards are open to a public audience and tickets are priced £14.00 Adults and £7.00 for Students and those aged 16 years and under.
